About Additional Work & Studio Life

You will notice ropes and chairs in these photos. We use these not as shortcuts, but to help you find alignment when your body feels stiff or restricted. Whether you are recovering from an injury or just starting, these props allow us to decompress the spine and move safely. It is about understanding what your body needs today, not forcing it into a shape it is not ready for.

In our studio, yoga is less about flexibility and more about longevity. When you look at our practice, you will see us using wall ropes (Kurunta) for traction or chairs for supported backbends. These tools are essential for anyone dealing with orthopedic issues, back pain, or joint stiffness. We keep our batches small so I can personally guide you on how to use these props. The focus is always on the breath and the alignment. If you are struggling with a posture, we do not push; we adjust. We often use the wall to help you understand a pose before you ever try it in open space. This is not a gym. You will not find loud music or competitive energy here. You will find people at different stages of their healing journey, working with patience. Whether it is a prenatal student or someone working through a spinal issue, we move at a pace that respects the body. 'Ruko, thoda time lagega' is a mantra we live by.
