About Advanced & Partner Yoga

In our advanced sessions, we move beyond basic asanas to explore trust and connection through partner yoga. You will work with a partner to safely attempt deeper stretches and challenging balances, with my hands-on support to ensure your alignment is correct and safe.

Advanced yoga is not just about the difficulty of a pose. It is about understanding your body’s potential and finding stability in challenging positions like Sirsasana (Headstand) or partner acro-yoga flows. In these classes, we utilize props like yoga wheels, blocks, and straps to help you open up the body, making complex inversions and deep backbends accessible.

Why Partner Yoga?

Partner yoga changes the dynamic of your practice. It requires communication, focus, and trust. When you practice as a team, you often find that you can push past your individual mental blocks. You might find yourself holding a stretch longer or balancing better than you would on your own, simply because you are supported.

What to Expect

  • Progressive Learning: We start with foundational trust-building exercises before moving into more dynamic 'flying' poses or three-person planks. This helps build core strength and stability gradually.
