Swap city chaos for the stillness of the Himalayas. Join my nature-based retreats where we ground ourselves in the five elements, from the mountain peaks of Uttarakhand to the lush forests of the Northeast.

A handstand against the vast mountain ranges of Uttarakhand. My mountain retreats are about finding a low key life, filled with inversions, fresh air, and the feeling of being on top of the world.

Rooted and grounded, I practice Natarajasana, the dancer's pose, against a tree in the forests of Uttarakhand. This is what forest bathing feels like, drawing energy and stability from the ancient trees around us.

Standing on a mountaintop in Uttarakhand, surrounded by prayer flags and snow-capped peaks. I am always learning to let the space between where I am and where I want to be inspire me, a lesson the mountains teach so well.

The perfect post-hike Savasana on Moila Top in Uttarakhand. After a rewarding climb, there is nothing better than lying on the earth, feeling the sun on your face, and completely letting go. This is a key part of my hiking and yoga retreats.

Taking in the view in the mountains of Himachal. It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see. My retreats are an invitation to change your perspective and find beauty in the stillness.

Finding the courage to express my passion with a King Dancer pose in Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh. The misty mountains provide a stunning backdrop for a practice that requires both strength and surrender.

A peaceful headstand practice overlooking the foggy Ziro Valley. In moments like these, surrounded by the quiet of the mountains, I am reminded to let my decisions come from a place of peace, not reaction.

About this collection

These retreats are physically active and deeply grounding. We combine daily yoga practice with mountain trekking, so come prepared with sturdy shoes and a readiness to move. It is about connecting with the natural world, so expect early mornings, crisp mountain air, and a refreshing lack of modern distractions.

Yoga in the mountains is a completely different experience. We move away from the studio and onto the earth, connecting with the panchabhuta or five elements that make up our world. My retreats in Himachal and Uttarakhand are designed to take you off the beaten path, where the only noise is the rustle of deodar trees or the distant sound of a waterfall.

We focus on Hatha and Vinyasa flows, but the practice extends into guided forest bathing or shinrin-yoku. We walk, we hike, and we pause for meditation. Whether we are trekking to Moila Top or sitting in silence in a tea garden in Assam, the goal is the same: to find santosh or contentment.

You do not need to be an expert yogi to join. If you are a beginner looking to disconnect or an experienced practitioner wanting to deepen your practice, these retreats are for you. I provide a structured but flexible environment where we balance active movement with the stillness of the mountains. Reach out if you have questions about the fitness level required for the treks or the specific yoga styles we will be covering.
