Here I am in the Warrior II pose, feeling grounded and expansive with the mountains and paddy fields as my witness. My retreats are all about finding these moments of connection between your body, your breath, and the incredible nature around us.
This is what my yoga retreats feel like. We gather under open skies to move, breathe, and reconnect. It’s a journey back to yourself, supported by a like minded community and the serene energy of the Himalayas.

Moving into the High Lunge, or Crescent Lunge, pose. This asana strengthens the legs and opens the chest, and practicing it with a view of the mountains makes it even more powerful.
A deep forward fold in the Prasarita Padottanasana, or wide-legged forward bend. This pose is excellent for calming the mind and stretching the hamstrings and back.
About The Practice: Yoga in Nature
My retreats aren't about perfecting a handstand or sticking to a rigid, dawn-to-dusk schedule. We keep things laidback, just like the mountains themselves. You will find a mix of Hatha, Vinyasa, and sound healing, but the real goal is simply to breathe, disconnect from the city, and let your body reset at its own pace.
When I host retreats in the Himalayas or by the river, I strip away the 'fitness' mindset. You won't find boot-camp style intensity here. Instead, we focus on what your body actually needs to recover from daily stress.
The Practice
We combine Hatha, Vinyasa, and Sivananda flow, always practiced outdoors. When you take your practice to an open-air deck with a view of the mountains, the asanas feel different. You are working on strength and flexibility, but with the support of fresh air and silence.
Sound Healing & Meditation
This is the core of the retreat experience. I use Tibetan singing bowls to guide you into deep relaxation. We lie down, listen, and let the vibrations do the work. It is essentially a spa for the nervous system. Whether you are dealing with burnout or just need a quiet space to process things, these sound baths and guided gratitude sessions help clear the mental clutter.
What You Can Expect
- Flexible Schedule: We eat, we flow, we walk in nature. If you need time to just sit with a cup of chai, that is encouraged.
- Nourishing Food: Meals are vegetarian and Sattvic, designed to keep you light and energized, not heavy or sluggish.
- Community: These are small groups. You will find people who are also looking to slow down, making it easier to share, connect, and feel supported.
Whether you join for a weekend in Kasauli or a longer immersion in Rishikesh, my goal is the same: you leave feeling like you have actually returned to yourself.
