Featured Moments from My Yoga Retreats
Take a peek into the stillness and connection we build when we step away from the city and into the mountains. These moments are the heart of my wellness practice.
Here I am in the Warrior II pose, feeling grounded and expansive with the mountains and paddy fields as my witness. My retreats are all about finding these moments of connection between your body, your breath, and the incredible nature around us.
This is what my yoga retreats feel like. We gather under open skies to move, breathe, and reconnect. It’s a journey back to yourself, supported by a like minded community and the serene energy of the Himalayas.
Namaste. I want to share a little about the magic of sound healing, an ancient meditation technique I use in my retreats. The vibrations from the Tibetan bowls help align your chakras, or energy centers, clearing out negativity and letting positivity flow through your mind, body, and soul.
This is the beautiful community from one of my recent Dehradun yoga retreats. We come together from all walks of life to share our practice, support each other, and grow. The energy of the group is always so special.
It’s always wonderful to hear how a sound healing session can bring so much peace. Listen to Soumya share her experience of how the vibrations helped quiet her mind and wash a feeling of calm over her.
Finding a moment of quiet meditation by the flowing river in Rishikesh. These are the times during a retreat where you can truly pause, listen to the sounds of nature, and connect with your inner self.
Come join me for a magical yoga and sound healing retreat in the hills of Kasauli. This short video gives you a peek into our schedule, from morning yoga sessions and gratitude ceremonies to sound healing and evening aarti.
Practicing Natarajasana, the Lord of the Dance pose, in a beautiful park. This asana is wonderful for building strength, balance, and flexibility, helping to open the hips and focus the mind.
About Featured
These images represent more than just yoga poses. They capture the genuine shift that happens when you replace city noise with the sound of a river or mountain wind. In my retreats, we prioritize the energy of the group over a rigid schedule. Whether it is a sound healing session with Tibetan bowls or a morning Vinyasa flow on an open-air deck, the goal is always to help you land back in your own body.
I believe that deep healing requires a shift in environment. When I host retreats in places like Kasauli or the banks of the river in Rishikesh, we are not just practicing yoga. We are pressing pause on the demands of daily life.
My approach is never about perfect poses or extreme flexibility. It is about how you feel after a session. When we use Tibetan bowls for sound healing, we are clearing out stress and physical tension that gets trapped in the body. It is often the first time in months that my students describe their minds as truly quiet.
We mix various styles like Hatha, Vinyasa, and Sivananda. Everything is grounded and approachable for all levels, even if you have not been on a mat in years. We eat clean, breathe deep, and actually talk to one another, building a community that lasts long after the trip ends. If you are feeling burnt out or just need to reconnect, these retreats are your space. I keep them small and intentional, ensuring that everyone gets the time they need to reflect and recharge.
