Finding Stillness in Nature: My Wellness Journey
Yoga isn't just about the mat. It's about finding quiet, whether by a sunset-lit ocean or deep in the woods. Here is a glimpse into the nature that inspires my practice.
Enjoying a magical sunset over the ocean. There is something so calming about watching the sun dip below the horizon, and it's a perfect time for quiet reflection.
Taking a moment to just sit and watch the waves and the beautiful colors of the sunset. These simple moments of connection with nature are what wellness is all about.
Pausing to smell the flowers. It's a simple act of mindfulness that helps you connect to the present moment and appreciate the small beauties in life.
Another moment of appreciating the simple things. Connecting with nature, even in small ways, helps to cultivate a sense of inner peace and power.
Feeling the incredible energy of this giant fallen tree. There is so much wisdom and strength in nature, and I love finding these unique spots on my travels.
A different angle, but the same feeling of awe and connection. Being surrounded by such ancient and powerful nature is a truly humbling experience.
Spreading my arms to embrace the natural vibes of the forest. It's a reminder to stay open to the beauty and energy that surrounds us.
Looking down into the heart of this old tree. It makes me think about the cycles of life and the deep roots of our own spiritual journey.
About Additional Moments
These photos are a reminder that mindfulness isn't limited to a four-wall studio. Whether I am sitting by a sunset-lit ocean or breathing in the forest air, nature is my primary classroom. I bring this same grounded energy to my retreats, where we disconnect from the digital world to fully immerse ourselves in sound healing and silent meditation.
My retreats are crafted to be more than just a vacation. They are a space to strip back the layers of stress that city living piles on. In the Himalayas or by the riverside, we do not just practice Vinyasa or Hatha; we let the environment dictate the flow of our day.
If you have ever felt the vibration of a Tibetan singing bowl, you know it is not just a sound—it is a physical reset. During these retreats, we integrate sound baths with guided pranayama and chakra balancing. It is highly effective for sleep issues and chronic stress, and you will find it leaves you feeling significantly lighter.
We keep the groups intentional and the schedule flexible. Sab kuch laidback hai, theek hai? We practice outdoors with incredible views, enjoy Sattvic-inspired vegetarian meals, and allow time for wandering through the hills or sitting with chai. Whether you choose the 1-night luxury stay in Kasauli or the deeper 3-night Himalayan immersion, the goal is always to return home feeling more like yourself. If you are ready to pause and breathe, I would love to guide you through this experience.
