About Advanced Practice: Build Your Strength
You won't find us jumping straight into advanced poses without preparation. We use wall ropes, blocks, and chairs to break down tricky movements like Bakasana or full backbends into manageable steps, keeping you safe while you steadily push your physical and mental boundaries.
Advanced yoga isn't about how flexible you are on day one. It is about 'karat-karat abhyas'—the patience to practice, adjust, and grow. Whether you are aiming to hold your first handstand or working on the depth of your Chakrasana, the challenge is as much mental as it is physical.
At my studio in Sector 23, I use props to make the impossible feel accessible. Wall ropes help you decompress the spine, while blocks and chairs provide the anatomical support needed to enter deep backbends safely. I am not a drill sergeant; I am a guide. If you are struggling with a transition or fear is holding you back, we address that together. My classes are designed to ensure you understand the mechanics of every inversion and arm balance, moving you away from 'trying' toward 'mastering'.
We focus on:
- Inversions: Building the core strength and shoulder stability for Sirsasana and forearm stands.
- Backbends: Using props to open the chest and spine safely.
- Arm Balances: Learning the shifts in weight and engagement required for poses like Bakasana and Eka Pada Koundinyasana.
This is a space where you learn to trust your body. You will find that when you remove the fear, your strength takes over.
