Moving beyond the basics requires focus and safe guidance. Join me as we explore inversions and complex balances to level up your practice.

About Advanced Asanas: Strength & Balance
When you are pushing for an inversion like a Headstand or Crow pose, fear is often the biggest barrier. I don't just instruct from the front of the room; I provide active, hands-on spotting to ensure you are safely aligned, letting you focus on building that deep core stability without the worry of falling.
Advanced yoga is not about how deep you can go, but how steady you stay while you are there. Whether we are working on Pincha Mayurasana (Feathered Peacock Pose) or refining your Bakasana (Crow Pose), my goal is to help you find that Sthirasukham—the balance of effort and ease.
How We Train
At my studio in Sagar Pur or during personal sessions at your home, we focus on safe progression. Advanced asanas require more than just strength; they need careful spinal alignment and wrist preparation. I walk you through the prep work—strengthening the shoulders for inversions and opening the hips for deep balances—so you do not just reach the pose, but hold it with control.
Overcoming Hesitation
I see many students struggle with the fear of falling during arm balances. My role is to bridge that gap with manual adjustments, helping you find your center of gravity so your body learns the movement before you try it solo. If you are in Delhi and ready to move past basic sun salutations, let us get on the mat and work on those advanced flows together. Remember, Prayas karna kabhi bhi band na karein (never stop trying).
Shashikant Yoga
I am Shashikant, and I believe yoga is the path to equanimity. I split my time between my studio in Sagar Pur and helping students at their homes across Delhi, blending traditional Hatha teachings with the modern strength training you see here.
