Yoga is more than just exercise. I teach kids through play, animal poses, and nature treks, helping them build focus, flexibility, and a lifelong love for the outdoors.

Watch our young yogis on a trekking adventure! We combine walking in nature with fun yoga poses, helping children become calm and pleasant while building a love for the outdoors.

Another shot of the kids' class, where they are learning foundational stretches. Introducing yoga early helps develop body awareness and flexibility that lasts a lifetime.

About Yoga for Kids

In my kids' batches, we don't sit still for long. We use 'animal' poses like the butterfly or tiger to keep things moving and fun. It's about building their foundation—improving concentration, posture, and immunity—in a way that feels more like play than a strict lesson.

I often get asked, 'Why start kids on yoga so young?' The answer is simple: it’s about habits. When a child learns how to breathe properly or focus during a balancing pose, they carry that calm into school and their daily lives. We keep the sessions interactive, focusing on foundational movements that support healthy growth. My classes for 5-15 year olds aren't just about stretches; they are about developing memory, discipline, and emotional balance through structured play.

The Nature Connection

I firmly believe that being outdoors changes a child's temperament. That’s why our program occasionally moves out of the Nagarbhavi studio and onto the trails. We do yoga in the fresh air, making the experience memorable and grounding. It teaches them to appreciate the world around them while strengthening their own bodies.

What to expect in class

  • Playful Flow: We use animal-inspired movements to engage their imagination and keep them active.
  • Foundational Growth: Poses like Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) help with concentration, balance, and physical development.
  • Mindfulness: Simple breathing exercises that help them manage exam stress or restlessness.

Whether your child needs help with physical posture or just needs a healthy, screen-free activity, these sessions offer a space where they can grow at their own pace.
