Why I Do This
Transformation, or ‘Vivarta’, is at the center of everything for me. I’ve found that when we step out of city chaos and spend time in wild places, something inside us shifts. You start to feel lighter, more at peace, just by being close to forests, hills, or the ocean. That’s why I bring people on these journeys - not just to walk, but to actually change how they feel inside.
What Happens on These Retreats
- We go on guided treks, exploring places like Hampi’s old stones, Gokarna’s beaches, or even up in the Himalayas. Each location is its own adventure.
- Yoga happens in nature, sometimes on a mountain, sometimes by a river. I’ll help you with your practice, whether you’re a beginner or already into yoga.
- We always make room for stillness. Guided meditation in the open, under the sky, helps quiet the mind (Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodha, as the old texts say).
- I share stories and bits of wisdom from yoga and life along the way.
Where We Explore
Our treks and retreats move through Karnataka’s hidden gems - Hampi, Gokarna, Chikmagalur, Agumbe - and the spiritual sides of the Himalayas like Kedarnath or Ladakh. Each trip feels different.

My Story
Hey, I’m Shashi. Yoga and trekking—these two keep me going. My institute’s called Vivarta Yoga because I’m all about transformation, not just on the mat but out in the wild too. Been at it 5+ years now. I love seeing people break their own limits, whether it’s kids chilling on a yoga trek or adults finding peace after a tough week. Nature’s the real teacher, I swear. Yoga should happen to everyone, anywhere.
My Work
Yoga Classes & Treks - I teach online yoga classes for adults, in-person sessions, and organize yoga treks for children and grown-ups.
Transformation Focus - Classes go beyond asanas - we work on therapeutic back strengthening, flexibility, and mental calm.
Healthy Lifestyle Tips - We talk about natural foods, like tender coconut water, to boost practice and overall health.
