Yoga isn't just for a studio floor. I take my practice to the mountains and rivers, helping you disconnect from the city grind and find true transformation in the great outdoors.

When passion and profession meet, that is where you find true happiness. Leading a yoga session on this beautiful rock formation is a perfect example of this for me.

We can't impress everybody, but we can inspire everybody. Here, I am leading a meditation session on a mountain top, hoping to inspire a deeper connection with oneself and with nature.

Being a teacher means being willing to place the well-being of others above your own. It was a joy to guide this group, and even a monkey decided to join our class!

Celebrating International Yoga Day in the lap of the Tungabhadra river in Hampi. Practicing yoga in such historic and natural settings brings a profound sense of peace and connection.

Yoga will bring you to a point where you are incapable of being depressed. Meditating here, overlooking the ocean, is a powerful practice for cultivating inner stillness and joy.

About Yoga in Nature: Retreats & Treks

When I lead these treks, we don't just walk; we practice asanas on rugged terrain and meditate by flowing water. This isn't a typical gym class. You will need a decent level of fitness and a willingness to step away from your phone and into a quieter, more focused rhythm. We work with the landscape, using natural rocks and open spaces to deepen your alignment and breathing.

Nature has a way of quieting the mind that four walls simply cannot replicate. My yoga retreats and treks are built around this idea. Whether we are practicing Surya Namaskar on the rocks by the Tungabhadra river in Hampi or meditating on a mountainside, the goal is always the same: 'Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodha'—quieting the mind to find a stillness that sticks.

What to Expect

These experiences are designed to break you out of your daily routine. We combine:

  • Outdoor Asanas: Moving through sequences adapted for uneven terrain, which builds core stability and balance in a way studio floors cannot.
  • Guided Meditation: Silence is our main prop. We use the sounds of nature to anchor your focus, making it easier to drop into a meditative state.
  • Physical Conditioning: Treks involve walking and climbing, which pairs with our yoga sessions to improve stamina, lung capacity, and leg strength.

Who This Is For

This is for anyone feeling stuck, whether physically with back pain or mentally with stress. You don't need to be an advanced yogi, but you should come ready to move and be present. My approach is hands-on, even out in the wild. I will guide you through the postures, ensuring you stay safe while you push your own boundaries. If you are ready to let nature teach you as much as the mat does, I invite you to join us.
