In-Studio Group Yoga Classes
Experience the energy of our community yoga sessions in Nagarbhavi and Basavanagudi. Whether you are looking to build strength or find flexibility, I provide hands-on guidance to help you progress safely.
A group of students finding their balance in Natarajasana (Lord of the Dance Pose). In my classes, we work together to improve concentration and stability, one pose at a time.
This is a dynamic arm strengthening sequence in one of my group classes. Poses like this build upper body strength in the shoulders and trapezius muscles, improving posture and endurance.
Students practicing a deep twisting lunge, which helps improve spinal flexibility and core strength. I guide the class to find their edge safely, ensuring everyone feels the benefits of the twist.
My students practicing Halasana (Plow Pose) during an in-studio class. This inversion is excellent for stretching the entire spine and calming the nervous system.
A view of my students in a seated spinal twist. This asana is great for improving digestion and releasing tension from the back and shoulders.
A close-up of a student in a challenging twisting and balancing pose. Group classes provide the motivation to try new things and push your limits in a supportive space.
A wider view of the studio during an arm-strengthening flow. You can see the focus and dedication of each student as they hold the pose.
Another angle of our twisting lunge practice. Notice how each student works within their own range of motion, which is something I always encourage.
Students practicing Ekapadasana (One-Legged Pigeon Pose) in unison. This pose is a fantastic hip opener and helps release stored stress and emotion.
More students finding depth in Halasana (Plow Pose). The collective energy of the room makes challenging poses feel more accessible.
About In-Studio Group Classes
The real value of joining these sessions is the manual adjustment. I do not just stand at the front of the room; I walk around to correct your posture, whether you are holding a twisting lunge or balancing in Natarajasana, ensuring you are safe and actually getting the benefit of every stretch.
My group classes are designed for anyone looking to build a consistent practice. We hold 60-minute intensive sessions five days a week, creating a rhythm that helps you stay disciplined. My studios in Nagarbhavi and Basavanagudi are intentionally non-AC and naturally ventilated, as I believe the body should sweat naturally to detoxify.
What to expect in a session
Every class follows a structured flow. We start with Om chanting and centering to quiet the mind, move through variations of Surya Namaskar to warm up, and then dive into a core sequence of standing, seated, and twisting asanas to work on spinal health and core strength. We always finish with Pranayama breathwork and Shavasana to ensure you leave feeling calm, not just tired.
Why group practice works
There is a different kind of energy when you practice with others. Seeing someone else find depth in their pose or hold a balance often motivates you to try a little harder. It builds accountability. My role is to make sure you are doing it right. I use props like yoga blocks and straps to assist with alignment, and I break down complex asanas into small, manageable steps so you are never overwhelmed. Whether you are working on releasing tension in your back or building upper body strength in your shoulders, I am there to guide your movement.
