About Kids Yoga
Don't expect your child to sit perfectly still for an hour. Our sessions are built around their natural energy—we use games, partner poses, and mindful storytelling to help them build strength and concentration without ever making it feel like a chore.
Yoga for kids is not about achieving perfect alignment in complex asanas, but about laying a foundation for a healthy life. In our Rohini studio, we teach children that their body is a tool they can control, regardless of their age or flexibility.
Why Yoga for Kids?
Children today face the same stressors as adults: academic pressure, screen time fatigue, and overthinking. Our sessions offer a safe space for them to breathe, move, and reconnect with themselves.
- Movement through Play: We use creative sequences—like imitating animals in poses or balancing like a tree—to develop motor skills and body awareness.
- Focus & Calm: Through simple pranayama (breathing techniques) and short meditations, kids learn how to regulate their emotions when they feel overwhelmed.
- Social Confidence: Our group batches foster a sense of community. They practice partner poses and celebrate milestones together, which helps shy children open up and energetic ones channel their focus.
Our Methodology in Rohini
We believe in 'thoda mehnat, solid result' (a little effort, solid result). Classes are structured to be engaging from start to finish, ensuring kids leave feeling refreshed rather than exhausted. Whether it is improving posture for children who hunch over desks or helping them sleep better at night, our techniques are practical and age-appropriate. We keep the batches small to ensure every child gets the attention they need to practice safely, Monday through Friday.
