This space is my sanctuary for practice. It is designed to help you disconnect from the city noise and reconnect with your breath.

The serene atmosphere of my shala, where every class begins with grounding and connecting to the breath. The space itself holds the energy of our collective practice.

A glimpse of the altar at my shala, where we set our intentions. This space is dedicated to Vīrya: strength, vitality, and courageous energy.

The shala at the beginning of a class, filled with calm and prayerful energy. This is my homecoming, a space where I share a practice that is a form of higher energy for me.

My personal practice in the quiet corner of the shala. The space is my canvas for self-discovery and shedding the layers of what I am not.

The shala is where my practice gives me energy and protects me. The warm lighting and sacred objects create a container for deep inner work.

A view of the evening class at the shala. The soft light and focused energy make it a perfect environment for going inward.

Students using props during a class at the shala. The space is equipped to support practitioners of all levels on their journey.

My practice in the shala, a space designed for simplification and meditation. The history of yoga comes alive here, moving from physical culture to a spiritual yearning.

The warm, welcoming energy of the shala during a wheel-work class. It is a safe space to explore, release, and gain inner joy.

The effects of fasting on my practice, observed within the quietude of the shala. The space supports introspection and heightened awareness.

About The Shala: Our Sacred Space

I intentionally limit each session to 12 participants so the shala never feels like a crowded gym. Whether you are using the studio-grade yoga wheels or simply practicing on the wooden floors, the environment is set up to support a quiet, focused flow rather than a fast-paced fitness regime.

The shala is more than just a room with mats. I built this home studio in Panchsheel Park to be a container for deep inner work. The climate-controlled space, with its wooden flooring and soft, ambient lighting, is purposefully designed to minimize distraction and maximize the awareness of your own breath and movement.

Why Practice Here

My approach is rooted in Sthiram Sukham (steadiness and ease). When you step into this space, you are not just walking into a class; you are entering a shared practice.

  • Small Group Focus: By keeping class sizes strictly capped, I can provide the hands-on adjustments that are essential for safe alignment. This is where you learn to work with your body, not against it.
  • Equipped for Growth: The shala is fully stocked with props, including blocks, straps, bolsters, and yoga wheels. These tools are here to help you find depth in a pose, regardless of your current flexibility.
  • Atmosphere: I curate the vibe with intentionality. From the altar to the sound of the breath, every element is there to help you move from physical exercise into a state of meditation.

Whether you are exploring Hatha, Ashtanga, or specialized workshops like backbending, this shala provides the consistency you need to deepen your practice. It is a space where the history of yoga meets the reality of our daily lives, giving us a place to release stress, build genuine strength, and find a bit of quiet in Delhi.

I didn’t set out to open a shala, but this space in Panchsheel Park became my own homecoming. I keep the sessions small and personal because I believe yoga is about the energy we share in this quiet corner, not about numbers in a class.
