Sharan Yoga: A Mindful Path to Balance and Healing
Beyond the pose: a glimpse into our shala where we focus on breath, emotional release, and finding quiet amidst the Delhi noise.
This is where the real work happens. In my classes, I provide hands-on support to help you move beyond perceived limits, not with force, but with breath and trust. It is in these moments of surrender that we find true opening in the body and mind.
You don’t need to be flexible or spiritual to begin. You just need to be curious. Here, we practice together, a community of individuals sharing the same space and intention, supporting each other’s journey on the mat.
Building confidence is a process, one breath at a time. In my inversion workshops, we focus on creating a strong foundation and understanding the technique, so you can safely explore what it feels like to see the world from a new perspective.
Many people seek flexible hips, but few understand that the hips hold our emotional history. This practice isn't about achieving a difficult pose; it's about creating the space to release what no longer serves you, leading to a sense of freedom that extends far beyond the mat.
The energy of our Śuddhi, or purification, workshop was something truly special. Through movement, breath, and Trāṭaka (candle gazing), we shared a morning of softness and release, creating a calm that I will carry with me for a long time.
The path of yoga requires discipline, and sometimes, the work is hard. But it is through consistently showing up for these challenging moments that we build not just physical strength, but the mental character to move through life with grace.
Sharing this practice with a wider community on International Yoga Day is always a powerful reminder of yoga's ability to unite us. It was a true testimony to my faith in this life changing practice.
I am deeply moved when my students share how the practice has shifted something within them. This is the heart of my work. It’s not about flexibility, but about a real shift in the mind and energy.
About Featured
You will notice hands-on adjustments in every frame. My goal is never to force your body into a shape but to use gentle touch to help you breathe into tight spaces and understand your own alignment from the inside out.
My teaching is born from my own journey. After years in the corporate grind, I found that yoga was the only tool that allowed me to truly pause. That is why when you step into my shala in Panchsheel Park, or join me at The Quorum in Gurgaon, you will find a practice that prioritizes the nervous system over aesthetic perfection.
We explore the intersection of movement and emotion. The physical āsana is just a doorway. Whether we are practicing a rigorous Ashtanga sequence to build strength or engaging in a slow Hatha flow to release hip tension, the intent remains the same: charging the body with energy, not just burning calories.
I intentionally keep my masterclasses and workshops capped at 10-12 students. This limitation isn't just for logistics, it is to ensure I can offer the hands-on guidance required for safe progression. You will find props like yoga wheels, blocks, and bolsters readily available, not as crutches, but as tools to help you find that Sthiram Sukham—the state of being both steady and comfortable.
This is not a space for comparison. If you are looking to learn inversion techniques like headstands safely, or if you need a space to process stress through breathwork and sound baths, you are in the right place. We show up, we breathe, and we move through the discipline together.

Hi, I’m Sharan. I teach because yoga was my own anchor after years of corporate life, not because I planned a teaching career. I’m here to help you find your own Sthiram Sukham—steady and comfortable—regardless of your starting point.
