About In-Studio Yoga Classes
I found yoga when I needed it most, and now I share that same feeling of coming home every time we step onto the mat together. My classes aren’t about nailing perfect poses or showing off flexibility. It’s about healing, moving with intention, and letting breath guide every movement. If you’re just doing the shapes without engaging your core or breath, it’s not yoga - it’s just exercise.
What Happens in Class
Each session runs for 75 minutes and covers the full spectrum:
- We start with simple kriyas to cleanse and wake up the body.
- The main chunk is asana, where we build strength and stillness through dynamic sequences. I draw from Hatha yoga studio sessions and Ashtanga traditions.
- Pranayama is always included - conscious breathwork to channel energy.
- Every class ends with meditation and a long shavasana. No skipping this part, it’s where the magic happens.
How We Practice
Classes mix it up - some days it’s dynamic vinyasa flow class, syncing breath and movement. Other days, we slow down with yin yoga to release deep tension. There’s also a self-paced group format, so you get personal attention while still soaking in the group vibe.
Who’s Welcome
If you can breathe, you can do yoga. I’ve worked with folks dealing with herniated discs, PCOS, anxiety, arthritis - yoga here is therapeutic yoga for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. I offer hands-on adjustments and make sure everyone finds what feels right.
Where We Meet
We practice at SharanYoga Shala in Panchsheel Park, South Delhi (morning and evening classes), and at The Quorum Club, Gurgaon on Saturdays. The energy in our shala comes from everyone who shows up - we’re a real in-person yoga community.

My Story
Hi, I’m the so-called accidental yoga teacher. Didn’t start out to teach—my Sādhanā was just for me, after years in the corporate grind. I stumbled into sharing my practice, not chasing likes or perfection. I’ve messed up, got anxious, even lost a big campaign. But I see now, that was all part of my path. Yoga for me is about letting go, not showing off. Now, teaching is just an honest extension of my own search for balance.
My Work
Holistic Yoga Classes & Workshops - I offer group and self-paced sessions in Delhi, focusing on Ashtanga, Hatha, sound healing yoga, and special themes like 108 Surya Namaskars workshop.
Yoga Beyond Exercise - If you’re not using your breath and bandha, it’s not yoga. I guide you to a mindful asana practice, not just a workout.
Balance Over Perfection - Yoga’s about Sthiram Sukham balance, not perfect poses. We work with your body’s strengths and weaknesses.
Emotional Release and Surrender - We explore how hips hold stress. Depth in asana comes from surrender, not force—yoga for emotional release.
Supportive Community Energy - My shala has a peaceful vibe because of the people. I give my energy to help students grow, heal, and find calm.
