Life at the Ashram: Our Community & Home
Step into a space where yoga is not just a practice, but a way of living. Here in Ramanagar, we trade city noise for quiet mornings, home-grown sattvic food, and a community dedicated to real, human connection.
Life at the ashram is not always serious. Here, we are having some playful fun in the woods, reminding us to connect with our inner child and find joy in the simple moments.

Pure, uninhibited laughter by the water's edge. The friendships formed during the training are one of the most cherished takeaways. This is a space where you can be your true self.

Yoga is found in every action, even in the kitchen. Here, I am preparing a simple meal. Cooking with mindfulness and love is a form of service (seva) and a practice of yoga itself.

Students embrace a large, ancient tree, feeling its grounding energy. Connecting with nature is a core part of our practice here, reminding us of our roots and our connection to all living things.

About Life at the Ashram: Our Community & Home
Living at our ashram is an immersive practice in simplicity. You will share gender-segregated dormitories, participate in daily karma yoga like gardening or kitchen help, and enjoy two simple, sattvic vegetarian meals every day. It is a digital detox meant to strip away the distractions of city life so you can finally focus on your own rhythm.
A Real Sanctuary, Not a Resort
If you are looking for luxury amenities, this will surprise you. Our ashram is a sanctuary for those ready to strip back the layers of modern life. There is no air conditioning here, just fresh air, open-air yoga shalas, and a schedule that follows the sun. We keep things simple because simplicity clarifies the mind.
The Rhythm of the Day
Your days are structured but supportive, beginning at 5 AM and winding down by 9 PM. This consistency helps you build discipline without the stress of rigid rules. Whether you are here for our 200-hour or 300-hour teacher training programs, you are a participant in the ashram's pulse, not just a guest.
- Karma Yoga: Service is essential here. You will contribute to the maintenance of the ashram—whether in the garden or the kitchen. It is a way to stay grounded and serve the space that holds you.
- Sattvic Nutrition: We provide two meals daily, prepared with simple, vegetarian ingredients. You eat for vitality and clarity, not for entertainment.
- Community Connection: This is a space to be human. From the serious intensity of pranayama practice to the lighthearted laughter of a shared meal or evening fire, the bonds you form here are built on vulnerability and shared growth.
This is a place to disconnect from the external noise and find the lost bits of yourself.
