About Immersive Yoga Retreats in Nature
When you stay with us at the Ramanagara centre, expect more than a vacation. We balance five to six hours of daily practice, including morning Asana and evening Pranayama, with simple, traditional Sattvik meals. The focus is strictly on Iyengar alignment, using our dedicated wall ropes, chairs, and bricks to safely explore postures, regardless of your current flexibility level.
Why Ramanagara
Our centre is located in Ramanagara, a short drive from Bangalore, yet feels worlds away. We are surrounded by mango trees and fresh air, creating a natural environment that supports quiet observation and deep practice. This is not a luxury resort. It is a dedicated space for yoga students to unplug and immerse themselves in the Iyengar method.
The Intensive Experience
Each retreat is built around the discipline of our lineage. We follow a strict schedule designed to help you progress. You will have morning sessions focused on intense Asana practice and evening sessions dedicated to Pranayama. We use our full range of props, including chairs, ropes, and wooden bricks, to ensure every student, from beginners to advanced practitioners, works with correct alignment.
