Life in Bangalore is loud and constant. Our silent retreats at Yoga Dhama give you a three-day pause from the noise, notifications, and deadlines so you can truly reset.

Life can feel draining and loud. This video shows you the problem we all face and the solution we offer: the AthaYog Silent Retreat. It's a three day reset at Yoga Dhama, where we replace noise with stillness, deadlines with deep breaths, and distraction with connection.

I often see couples who are together but feel disconnected. A typical vacation can sometimes add more stress. I believe the gift of shared silence can be incredibly healing. This is an invitation for partners to reconnect without words at our silent retreat.

Namaste. I wanted to personally invite you to our silent retreat by the Kaveri river in Srirangapatna. The seats are filling up for this special experience of asanas, breath work, and enjoying simple satvik meals with a like minded community. I hope you can join us.

Here is a detailed itinerary for our AthaYog Silent Retreat. Across three days, we guide you through a structured schedule of meditation, various yoga practices, silent reflection, and community time, all designed to help you reconnect with yourself.

This collage shows the serene environment of Yoga Dhama, the location for our silent retreats. Surrounded by nature, with simple and comfortable accommodations, it is the perfect setting to disconnect from the outside world and find your inner quiet.

This image captures the feeling of being exhausted and overwhelmed by work. Our silent retreat is designed as a pause button for exactly this feeling, offering a moment to just breathe and reset.

This graphic summarizes what our silent retreat is all about: three days of silence, yoga, bhajans, and breathwork with a small group of 25 participants. It’s a simple, powerful formula for finding calm.

About this collection

We host these retreats at Yoga Dhama near Srirangapatna, a riverside space chosen specifically to remove you from city chaos. This is not a luxury vacation. Expect simple satvik meals, shared living spaces, and a strict no-phone policy. We limit this to 25 people because a smaller group makes the silence feel like a shared experience rather than isolation. You will practice Hatha and Yin yoga, but the real work happens in the quiet hours between sessions.

Why a Silent Retreat?

Modern life demands constant connectivity, which leaves many of us feeling drained and scattered. A silent retreat is not about escaping your life, but about coming home to it. By removing external noise and digital distractions, you allow your nervous system to regulate and your mind to settle.

What to Expect

Our retreats are structured to support this deep rest. We balance movement with introspection:

  • Yoga Practice: Daily Hatha and Yin yoga sessions to release physical tension.
  • Guided Silence: Periods of Mauna (noble silence) to encourage inward reflection.
  • Mindful Living: Cyclic meditation, breathwork, and evening bhajans that help anchor the mind.
  • Nutrition: Simple, wholesome satvik meals designed to be light and easy on the digestion, which aids in mental clarity during the retreat.

Who Should Join?

This is for anyone who feels stuck in a loop of back-to-back work, exhaustion, or mental fog. You do not need to be an advanced yogi to participate. Whether you are a beginner looking to understand yoga philosophy or someone just needing a digital detox, this space is open to you. Come as you are, prepared to disconnect from your devices and reconnect with yourself.

The Setting

We hold these sessions in Srirangapatna, right by the river. The environment is rustic and intentionally kept simple to ensure there are no distractions. You will have twin or triple-sharing accommodation, allowing you to be part of a community that is seeking the same peace you are.
