Yoga Classes in Bengaluru: Guided Practice for All Levels
Real yoga isn't about perfect lines, it is about showing up for yourself. Explore my approach to Hatha and Vinyasa flow through these sessions designed to build strength and mindfulness.
This is Camatkarasana, or Wild Thing. For me, it represents the beauty of finding strength and openness in unexpected ways. My practice is all about exploring what your body can do with mindful movement and a little bit of grace.
If you think you're "not flexible enough" for yoga, my classes are for you. Here I break down the Seated Forward Fold (Paschimottanasana) into four manageable steps, using props to help you find a comfortable and effective stretch without straining your back.
Building a strong core is central to my teaching. This is Boat Pose (Navasana), and as you can see, there are options for every level. We start where you are and build strength together, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to advance your practice.
Join me for a quick, gentle flow designed to release the tension of the day. My online classes are created so you can roll out your mat at home and find movement that feels good for your body and mind.
A question I get asked a lot is, "Can I do yoga if I'm not flexible?" The answer is always yes. Yoga isn't about touching your toes; it's about what you learn on the way down. We build flexibility together, one breath at a time.
Props are your best friends in yoga. Here are several ways to approach Malasana (Yogi Squat) using a block or a wall for support. My goal is to make every pose accessible, helping you find the right alignment for your unique body.
This is Natarajasana, or Dancer's Pose, at sunrise. It's a powerful reminder that yoga is a dance between effort and ease, stability and freedom. It’s a practice that helps us stand firm, even when life feels wobbly.
About Featured
Many people hesitate to start because they think they need to be flexible before they even sign up. In my classes, we use props like blocks and walls to ensure you are accessing the right muscles safely, rather than forcing your body into shapes it is not ready for yet. My focus is on healthy alignment and mindful movement, not aesthetics. If you have been putting off your practice, know that we start exactly where you are.
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your existing practice, my sessions are designed to be accessible and grounded. I blend Hatha yoga, which focuses on steady alignment, with Vinyasa flow to help you build strength and cardiovascular health. My goal is to demystify yoga philosophy while providing practical, scientific cues for your movement.
We do not just move on the mat; we connect the mind, body, and breath. Expect sessions that incorporate core-strengthening flows, hip-opening stretches, and gentle desk yoga routines to counteract the stiffness from long hours of sitting. I believe that consistent, shorter sessions are more beneficial than sporadic, intense workouts.
Why join my group sessions?
- Small Batch Caps: I limit group sessions to 15 students so I can provide real-time verbal corrections. This ensures your camera is positioned correctly for safe alignment.
- Modifications for Every Body: Every pose has variations. If you cannot touch your toes or find a deep squat challenging, we use props like blocks, straps, or the wall to make the asana work for your unique anatomy.
- Recording Access: Life gets busy. If you miss a live class, you will have access to the recording for 48 hours so you can practice at your own pace.
We will work on everything from mastering foundational asanas to understanding the deeper philosophy behind the movements. If you prefer a more personalized approach, I offer 1-on-1 virtual sessions where we can dive deep into form correction, injury recovery, or specific goals like mastering inversions.
