My Personal Journey with Yoga

Yoga became my path when I left the corporate world behind. This collection of moments shows that yoga is less about the perfect pose and everything about the relationship you build with yourself.

What does "Listen to your body" really mean? It means to pay attention, slow down, and be present. You don’t need to rush. Better results come when you move with love and respect for your body.

Every new day is an opportunity to take a step towards the life you want to create for yourself. Here I am in a child's pose on the beach, a posture of surrender and new beginnings.

Almost into the third week of assisting a Teachers Training Course at the Sivananda Ashram in Uttarkashi. I feel absolutely blessed to be surrounded by this beautiful place, people, and energy.

About this collection

When you look at these photos, you are seeing my personal practice, but I want you to see your potential for growth instead. Whether you are dealing with a stiff back from desk work or just feeling overwhelmed, I teach you how to use breath and movement to actually land in your body, not just perform an asana. We focus on consistent, comfortable movement that honors where you are today.

My journey into yoga started in 2019, leaving a predictable corporate desk for a mat that felt like a lifeline. I was lost and scared, but I realized that yoga was not about flexibility. It was about reclaiming my own energy, or Prana. In this space, you will find glimpses of my time training at the Sivananda Ashram in Uttarkashi and my daily practice. When I teach, I bring this exact same philosophy: we do not rush. We do not perform. We listen.

Why my approach feels different

  • Slow Down to Speed Up: Most of us spend our days hunched over laptops in areas like Koramangala or HSR Layout. We hold tension in our shoulders and hips. My sessions are designed to release this specific, chronic tightness through Hatha and Vinyasa flows, not through aggressive stretching.
  • Authentic Guidance: I use props, modifications, and constant verbal cues because I want you to feel the posture in your muscles, not your joints. If you need a block or a wall, we use it. If you need to stop and breathe, we stop.
  • Personal Connection: Whether you join a group session or a one-on-one class in Bangalore, I keep my groups small enough that I can see you. When your camera is on, I am watching for your alignment, not just your presence.

Yoga is a conversation between your soul, mind, and body. It is okay if you cannot touch your toes yet. We will get there by honoring your body, not fighting against it. Let’s start that conversation together.
