A glimpse into my world of yoga—from challenging inversions to deep, restorative stillness.
In my workshops, I provide hands on support to help you understand the alignment and feel of a pose. Here, I'm assisting a student with her sirsasana (headstand), ensuring she feels secure as she builds strength and confidence in her inversion practice.
This is an example of my 'Find Your Balance' headstand workshop. We focus on strengthening the core and shoulders, learning how to distribute weight, and building the self confidence to practice inversions safely. It’s a journey of perseverance and control.
My Yoga Nidra workshops are designed for deep, guided relaxation. If you feel anxious or fatigued, this sleep based meditation can help you manage emotions and find mental stillness. It's believed that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra can feel like two hours of deep sleep.
Yoga can also be about play and connection. This is a little Acro Yoga flow, a practice that builds trust, communication, and strength with a partner. It’s a fun way to explore balance and movement in a completely different way.
The body is a form of art. Here I am in Chakrasana, or Wheel Pose, under a beautiful art installation. This deep backbend is a powerful heart opener, creating space and energy, much like a work of art can.
I believe in breaking down poses so they feel accessible. This video shows how to use a wall for support in a Warrior 2 variation, focusing on foot placement and hip rotation. Props and walls are great tools for exploring alignment safely.
Even as an instructor, I have days where my body feels stiff and needs a gentler practice. Here, I'm using a yoga wheel for a supported backbend. Listening to your body is the most important part of yoga; sometimes doing less is more.
A workshop is a space of shared energy and strength. In this photo, I'm guiding a student into a stable headstand, while others in the group practice at their own pace. It’s about creating a supportive environment where everyone can find their power.

My sessions are not about achieving the aesthetic perfection you see on Instagram. Whether we are working on headstands or practicing deep Yoga Nidra, the focus is always on your body's specific needs, not a rigid standard. Expect real-talk guidance, practical modifications for days when you feel stiff, and a space where acknowledging your limits is actually the first step to progress.
Why I Teach This Way
Yoga shouldn't feel like another high-pressure task on your to-do list. I break down complex movements, like inversions and arm balances, into anatomical steps so you can practice safely, whether you are in my studio or at home. If you have ever looked at a pose and thought it was too difficult, my technical clinics are designed to show you that you just need the right preparation and support.
My Practice Pillars
- Skill-Based Inversions: We focus on core engagement, shoulder stability, and using props like walls or chairs. It is less about 'nailing' the pose and more about building the awareness to try safely.
- Deep Restoration: When your brain feels like it cannot switch off, I guide sessions like Yoga Nidra. These are purely about nervous system regulation. You lie down, you listen, and you let go.
- Community & Play: I believe in the power of shared energy. From Acro Yoga jams that build trust to group workshops where we support each other's alignment, these moments are the heart of my teaching.
I am RYT500 certified, but more importantly, I am a human who has stiff days just like you. I do not promise a quick fix or a transformation in a single class. I promise a consistent, honest space to learn about your body, move with intention, and build a practice that actually works for your real life.
