Let’s break down complex poses together in a safe, encouraging space. Whether you are working on your first headstand or refining your backbends, I am here to guide your progress.

Welcome. Here’s a look inside one of my inversion workshops in Bangalore. I focus on breaking down complex poses like this headstand variation, ensuring everyone feels supported and confident as they learn.

Learning a headstand, or Sirsasana, is a journey, not a race. In this tutorial, I guide you through the foundational steps to build strength and balance safely, which is the core of my teaching method in our workshops.

I love teaching backbends because they are about opening the heart. Here’s a personal invitation to my backbending workshop, where we explore poses like this with a focus on strength, stability, and safety.

The Crow Pose, or Kakasana, is often the first arm balance people learn. This video breaks down the technique, showing you how to build the necessary arm and core strength, just like we do in my arm balance workshops.

This is an announcement for one of my recent backbending workshops in HSR Layout. Keep an eye out for these, as I host themed sessions across Bangalore focusing on specific skills like deeper, stronger backward bends.

The energy in our workshops is everything. This video captures the focus, fun, and community spirit from one of our headstand sessions. We learn together, support each other, and celebrate every bit of progress.

This is a transition I love, moving from a Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana) into a Forearm Wheel. It requires control and flexibility, and it’s a great example of the advanced flows we work towards in my classes.

About this collection

In these sessions, we do not rush. I break down advanced asanas like Sirsasana and Pincha into manageable stages, providing hands-on spotting so you learn to fall and recover safely. It is about building the necessary strength and alignment awareness before you even attempt to lift off.

My Approach to Advanced Asanas

Yoga is not just about the final shape of the pose. It is about the process of getting there. In my workshops, I use an engineer’s breakdown for complex poses, deconstructing them into prep, entry, hold, and exit stages.

We prioritize safety above all else. Whether we are working on inversions like Headstands, heart-opening backbends like Chakrasana, or arm balances like Crow Pose, you get direct physical spotting. You learn how to use props, how to engage your core properly, and most importantly, how to fall without fear.

Where We Practice

These are in-person sessions hosted at premium wellness centers like Good Move in Koramangala or Cafe Reset. We typically meet on weekends, creating a dedicated space to focus on one theme per session.

  • Single Topic Technical Workshops: These 90 to 120-minute intensives allow us to deep-dive into a specific skill with plenty of Q&A time.
  • 4-Week Progressive Skill Series: If you want deeper consistency, this series lets us build your practice week-over-week. We start with foundations and move toward dynamic transitions over four consecutive weekends.

Who This Is For

If you have an existing movement or yoga habit and feel ready to safely explore the next level of your practice, you are welcome here. We are not interested in perfection. We are interested in real, tangible progress made with like-minded people who understand that some days you nail it and other days you simply wobble. Bring your curiosity and a willingness to try.
