About Sprinting & Explosive Starts

Your 100m race is often won or lost in the first 10 meters. Most runners waste time slipping in the blocks because they do not understand their center of gravity. When we train, we do not just run; we fix your block setup, your shin angle, and your first-step rhythm so you explode out with purpose instead of spinning your wheels.

Sprinting is about more than just moving your legs fast; it is about force application and finding the right rhythm. On the track, many athletes come to me having practiced for years, but they lack the mechanical efficiency to break through their personal bests. We spend our sessions breaking down the 100m and 200m into granular components.

Why the Block Start Matters

A powerful explosive start relies on your reaction time and your ability to project force into the ground. In our sessions, we use manual resistance training to build the neural pathways needed for an immediate, powerful push out of the blocks. We also use video analysis to ensure your head position and back angle are aligned during the drive phase.
