My Self-Defense Approach

I keep it straight - punch hard, kick hard, but even more important, stay alert. Like I always say, "ए भाई ज़रा देखके चलो" (hey, keep your eyes open). Sometimes, the best fight is the one you avoid. But when you can't, you need to be ready.

What You'll Do Here

This isn't your average fitness class. I focus on real-world self-defense techniques - not just punching air. You’ll learn:

  • Striking with proper punches and practical kicks
  • How to move, defend, and dodge
  • Grappling days with Judo and BJJ, because fights often go to the ground

We mix in MMA self-defense classes and drills you can actually use, not just in a ring but out on the street.

My Story

Gold Medalist, certified Black Belt, but mostly, I’m just your coach here at MMA Fitness Zone. This gym’s my second home, my family. Watching students drop 20-30 kg, win medals (21 in one district tourney!), that’s what makes me proud. I love escaping to Rishikesh, dipping in Maa Ganga, or chilling in Gulmarg snow with my partner, but my heart’s always here with my fighters – kids, women, future champs, everyone’s journey fuels me.

How I Coach - Basics first, repeat till perfect. I’ll say, 'कभी भी हम डक करते हैं, ठीक है?' (Whenever we duck, okay?) – focus on fundamentals, mobility, power.
