Step away from the studio walls. Join us in the fresh air of Delhi’s parks for a practice that reconnects you with nature and your own stillness.

Breathe, stretch, transform. Practicing Sirsasana by the pool during our Bali retreat.

It all comes down to practice. A simple flow on a balcony surrounded by lush greenery reminds us to have compassion and breathe well.

This is more than a forward fold, it's a sacred surrender. Finding stillness and healing by the water's edge.

At 30, movement feels different. Finding alignment in downward-facing dog under the open sky.

Your heart knows the way. A moment of quiet reflection in Vajrasana, or thunderbolt pose, in the park.

Nothing can enslave you if you know your own divine strength. A sequence of hip openers and balancing poses in the park.

Be kind to your body. A gentle flow through Prasarita Padottanasana, or wide-legged forward fold, outdoors.

It doesn’t matter what it looks like, it matters what it feels like. Finding peace in seated poses under a cloudy sky.

A simple standing forward bend in the park, connecting with the earth and finding release.

A flow from Virabhadrasana I to a standing forward bend in the park, a perfect way to start the day.

About Yoga in Nature: Classes, Retreats & Practice

Our outdoor sessions at Asiad Village offer a full 75 minutes of practice, giving you enough time to really settle into the space. We monitor the weather closely, and when it is pleasant, we move from the studio to the park greens to practice under the open sky. It is a different kind of energy compared to indoor classes, allowing you to breathe deeply and soak in the surroundings before you start your day.

Why We Take It Outdoors

There is something deeply grounding about practicing Asana and Pranayama with your feet on the grass. In the Sivananda tradition, we emphasize connecting with the elements, and nothing facilitates that better than the open air of Siri Fort.

What to Expect

  • The Setting: Weather permitting, we conduct our classes on the manicured lawns of Asiad Village. It is a shared space, a community vibe where we simply roll out our mats.
  • The Routine: We typically start with gentle warm-ups, moving into sun salutations to wake up the body, followed by held poses and ending with a Savasana under the sky. The fresh air naturally makes Pranayama feel more expansive.
  • Inclusivity: Whether you are an early bird joining us at 7:15 AM or prefer an evening flow, these sessions are designed for all levels. You do not need to be flexible or have years of experience; you just need the willingness to show up.

Practical Details

We provide the guidance, the sequence, and the verbal adjustments. We ask that you bring your own mat and water. If the weather turns, we shift seamlessly back into our studio space, so your practice remains consistent regardless of the Delhi climate. If you are looking for a deeper immersion, we also organize annual retreats in places like Bali and Dharamshala, where we combine this nature-focused approach with dedicated time for deeper self-reflection.
