Outdoor Yoga Experiences in New Delhi
Breathe, stretch, and reconnect. My outdoor sessions in Delhi’s green spaces bring your practice into nature to help you ground your energy and find focus.
There's nothing like starting the day with morning power yoga in the park. The fresh air and natural surroundings amplify the benefits of the practice, leaving you energized and calm.
Practicing Surya Namaskar with the iconic India Gate in the background. We believe in taking yoga beyond the four walls of a studio and integrating it with our daily lives and surroundings.
Three souls, one flow. Our students practice in harmony in a lush green park, demonstrating that yoga is a journey of the self, through the self, to the self.
In this outdoor tutorial, I demonstrate Vimanasana (Airplane Pose). Practicing balancing poses in nature challenges and improves your focus and stability.
About Outdoor Yoga Experiences
Practicing yoga outdoors brings a different energy, but it requires specific preparation. Unlike a controlled studio environment, you will face uneven surfaces and changing weather. I always recommend wearing layers and bringing a non-slip mat because the ground in parks is rarely perfectly flat. It is a challenge that builds ankle strength and focus, but you must be ready to adapt to the environment.
Kya aap jaante hain? Practicing on uneven grass actually activates your stabilizer muscles more than a flat studio floor. This means better balance and stronger ankles, provided you approach the surface with awareness.
💡 Kya karein? If you are new to outdoor sessions, start with a mat that has high grip. In my outdoor classes, we focus on grounding poses like Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) or balancing flows like Vimanasana to really connect with the earth. Outdoor yoga is about more than just fresh air. It is about removing the four walls and letting your practice breathe. Whether we are training in the greenery of Paschim Vihar or near city landmarks, the goal remains the same: finding inner stillness amidst the noise of the city.
We keep these sessions fluid and accessible. It is not about perfect alignment on a pristine floor; it is about finding your rhythm with the elements around you. If you have been struggling to maintain consistency, stepping out of the studio and into a park often provides the mental reset you need.
