Why I Do This

I’ve been through my share of storms - injuries, single motherhood, and all the ups and downs that come with being a woman. That’s why I don’t just teach yoga, I walk alongside you. Healing isn’t a straight line, and I get that. My sessions are shaped by real life, not just textbook stuff.

How I Work

I mix old-school yogic wisdom with what actually works today. My focus is on helping you feel better in your body and mind, whether you’re dealing with stress, hormonal changes, or just trying to find your feet. We look at everything - food (ahara), lifestyle (vihara), and thoughts (vichara) - because it’s all connected.

Yoga for Every Phase

  • Planning a family? I offer preconception care, not just for women but couples too. It’s about setting up a strong foundation before you even start trying.
  • Pregnancy and after? My prenatal yoga for women helps you prep for labor and bond with your baby. Postnatal recovery yoga is gentle and focused on healing, especially in those first weeks.
  • Menopause yoga support is all about easing symptoms like hot flashes, improving sleep, and keeping your bones strong.
  • If you’re struggling with hormonal balance or menstrual health, I use Yin Yoga and pranayama to help you find your center.

What to Expect

Sessions are calm, personal, and flexible. You’ll get gentle asanas, breathing work, mindfulness, and sometimes mantra chanting. It’s a safe space to just be yourself, wherever you’re at.

My Story

Hey, I’m Aarthi, founder of Padma Yoga Academy. Used to be all about the corporate grind, HR, meetings - but life had other plans. After a tough divorce, single parenting, and a few stumbles in the wellness world, I found my anchor in yoga and healing. Not just yoga, though - after an injury, I added strength training, sound healing, mandala art. Healing for me is messy, honest, sometimes awkward, always real. That’s what I bring to every class.
