Yoga doesn't have to be boring. At our JP Nagar and Akshayanagar studios, we swap stiff routines for props, games, and play, helping kids build strength and focus while having a total blast.

Teamwork makes the dream work. Our kids love creating group poses, learning to support each other while building strength and having a great time.

Our kids' batch flows through a gentle Surya Namaskar sequence, including poses like Ashwa Sanchalanasana and Bhujangasana. These sessions, held every weekday, are perfect for building a strong foundation in yoga.

About this collection

We believe yoga should never feel like homework. In our semi-private batches, we use blocks, wheels, and even aerial hammocks to turn postures into play, helping your child build physical coordination and concentration without the pressure of a rigid environment.

Why Our Mat is Different

At Hamsa, we don't expect children to sit still for an hour. Our kids' yoga program, running in both JP Nagar and Akshayanagar, is designed to channel high energy into meaningful movement. We replace boring drills with engaging activities like leaf printing, partner poses, and sensory games.

Skills They Build

Beyond just getting flexible, our sessions are crafted to support holistic development:

  • Focus & Concentration: We use Trataka (candle gazing) and simple breathwork to help children improve their attention span, which often carries over into their schoolwork.
  • Confidence: Whether it's our popular Kids Aerial Yoga where they experience the joy of 'flying' in hammocks, or mastering a challenging backbend like Chakrasana, every win builds self-belief.
  • Physical Health: With Hatha-style instruction, we focus on alignment and strength, using props like chairs and straps to make complex asanas safe and accessible for younger bodies.

What to Expect in Class

Our weekday 5:00 PM batches are semi-private, with 8-15 children, ensuring your child gets individual attention from our instructors. We mix it up daily so the routine stays fresh—one day it might be balancing poses like Tree Pose, and the next, we might be practicing partner acro-yoga basics.

If you aren't sure about a long-term commitment, we offer single drop-in sessions so your child can get a feel for the studio environment first. We also host 10-day summer camps that include creative arts, fire rituals, and plenty of masti (fun).
