My Personal Flow
A look into my own practice and the moments that inspire me. Movement is how I come back to myself, whether it is a challenging asana, a playful flow session, or just being with nature. This is my journey, and I am so happy to share it with y'all.
Grounded, yet flowing. A solo trip to Rishikesh meant so much to me. It was a time to unlearn, observe, and savor every breath by the Ganga river.
A sunset vinyasa flow on my rooftop. Sometimes a song hits you differently, and you just have to let yourself move. This was a conversation from me to me.
Always waiting to get upside down, especially at spots like this. A handstand on top of Harihara betta with a breathtaking view.
"When you've seen beyond yourself then you may find, peace of mind is waiting there." A deep lunge backbend on the beach, surrendering to the moment.
A grasshopper among the crabs. Playing with a fun arm balance, Parsva Bhuja Dandasana, on the wet sand.
Not everything is here to teach you, some things come just to let you see. A standing split on the beach, reaching for the sky.
A beach workout flow in a beautiful new activewear set. The ocean and the sand are the best gym you could ask for.
What really happens when you practice backbends regularly? More than just flexibility, it's about opening your heart, boosting your energy, and standing taller in every way.
The sweet struggle of trying Natarajasana at 6am mid-trek. The sunrise views were just so gorgeous, I had to try.
Another attempt at the sunrise dancer pose. Each try is a lesson in balance, focus, and embracing the process.
About My Personal Flow
My personal practice is not about perfectly holding an asana for a photo. It is about how I feel in my body, which is exactly what I teach in my sessions. When we work together, we focus on what feels steady and easy for you, not on achieving a specific shape. I might spend a whole session working on joint mobility or exploring how animal flow transitions feel because that is where the real connection happens.
For me, 'My Personal Flow' is a practice of coming home. I often get asked why I share these raw, unpolished clips, whether it is a struggle with Natarajasana at sunrise or a quiet moment of movement by the river. It is because I want to show that the path is not linear. My practice is a mix of Hatha Yoga, Animal Flow, and just moving because it feels good to my soul. When I practice on my terrace or near a river in Coorg, I am looking for that 'sthira, sukha' (steadiness and ease) that I promise to help you find in our workshops. You will notice I do not obsess over alignment perfection. I focus on movement that serves your nervous system. Whether we are doing a high-intensity Animal Flow drill or slow, mindful breathwork, the goal is always to unlock tension and build a connection with yourself. My retreats, whether at Hoopinkai Farm or a weekend workshop in the city, are just extensions of this personal flow. They are safe spaces to be a beginner, to be stiff, or to be someone who just wants to play. If you are looking for a rigid class where everyone moves in unison, my style might feel different. But if you want to explore what your body is actually capable of, with a little bit of play and a lot of heart, then let us move together.
