Puppy Yoga Classes in Bengaluru
Experience a yoga session where the most playful instructors are four-legged. My Pawga classes are all about connecting with rescue puppies, finding joy, and learning unconditional love right on the mat.
Asanas accompanied by sloppy licks, wagging tails, and lots of hair pulling. I love a good Pawga weekend with the sweetest angels from Charlie's Animal Rescue Centre.
This has to be my favorite yoga class ever. These little beings teach us unconditional love, which is what love truly means. So grateful for these moments.
From being confused in my first Pawga session to wanting to do them all the time. Yoga is about being present and extending love, and these puppies are the best teachers for that.
About this collection
Do not expect a pin-drop silent studio for these sessions. It is definitely not your standard yoga class. You might find yourself mid-downward dog only for a little puppy to wander under you, nibble your hair, or decide your mat is their new nap spot. We move with the chaos, embracing the laughter and the licks as part of the practice.
My Puppy Yoga sessions, or what we call Pawga, are a unique space where the focus shifts from perfecting your asanas to being fully present in the moment. These sessions are held in collaboration with local organizations like Charlie's Animal Rescue Centre, giving these little ones a chance to socialise while we humans get a heavy dose of therapy.
We practice 'Sthira, sukha'—steadiness and ease—but in a very real, dynamic environment. The puppies bring an unpredictability that forces you to let go of control. You cannot force a puppy to sit still, and you cannot force a flow when there is a wagging tail in your face. It is a beautiful lesson in accepting life as it comes.
Whether you are an experienced yogi or have never touched a mat before, these sessions are for you. You will likely spend as much time cuddling, playing, and laughing as you will stretching. It is a space to de-stress, recharge, and support a good cause. Come prepared to be messy, to be distracted, and to leave with a heart full of joy.
