Acro Yoga is where strength meets surrender. Whether you are a total beginner or ready to fly, join me to build trust, balance, and connection with your flowmies.

Acro mornings with my stretchy sistah. We kept trying and trying until it made sense. This practice is all about communication, patience, and celebrating the small wins.

Our first attempt at Acro Yoga, featuring a hula hoop, red ants, and mosquitoes. It's amazing how much you learn about each other through flow and a little bit of struggle.

A beautiful bow pose, or Dhanurasana, in the air during an Acro Yoga session on a yacht. This requires so much trust between the base and the flyer.

Another angle of our yacht Acro Yoga session, this time with the sunset in the background. The balance of strength and surrender is what makes this practice so special.

A different perspective of the flying bow pose. You can see the focus and stability required from both partners to hold this beautiful shape.

A classic 'throne' pose in Acro Yoga, performed for the Zenfest crowd. It looks simple, but it's built on a foundation of solid communication and balance.

About this collection

You do not need to be a gymnast to start. Most of the learning happens in the moments where we wobble. Finding balance while your partner holds you steady is how we build real trust. My sessions are designed for you to test your limits in a safe, supported environment where we laugh at the mistakes and celebrate every landing together.

Acro Yoga is less about perfect shapes and more about the conversation between two bodies. When you are flying or basing, you have to communicate clearly and listen to your partner's weight and movement. In my sessions, we focus on the fundamentals of L-basing and spotting, which are the safest ways to introduce partner work.

Why Practice Partner Yoga?

It transforms your solo practice into a shared experience. You learn to rely on someone else, which shifts your perspective on strength. We incorporate mobility warm-ups to prep the joints and core-focused drills to ensure you feel stable before we even attempt a lift. My goal is to make sure everyone leaves feeling empowered, not just physically but emotionally connected to the community.

What to Expect

  • Safety First: We always practice with dedicated spotters to ensure everyone stays safe while we play with gravity.
  • Beginner Friendly: We break down complex poses into small, manageable steps. If you are new, we focus on the base or low-flying poses to build your confidence.
  • Community Vibes: We practice in various spots across Bengaluru, from urban studios to outdoor festival stages, creating a space where everyone feels welcome regardless of their experience level.

Whether you are looking to challenge your balance or just want to have a fun, playful Sunday morning, Acro Yoga offers a unique way to step out of your comfort zone. Let’s work together to find that sthira, sukha—steadiness and ease—in every pose.

Hi, I'm Gowri! I am a movement artist here in Bengaluru, obsessed with exploring what our bodies can do when we work together. My classes are all about laughter, shaky legs, and finding that sweet spot of steadiness and ease while we navigate movement, one pose at a time.
