Yoga in nature sessions in Bengaluru

I believe movement feels different when you step away from four walls. Whether it is a quiet park or an open field, nature brings a different kind of energy to the mat.

"If the ocean can calm itself, so can you." A quiet, meditative flow on the beach at sunset. Moving with the sound of the waves is a deeply grounding experience.

When you can't choose between the beach or yoga, you do both. A synchronized warrior sequence with friends on the sand. The unstable surface of the sand adds an extra challenge to your balance.

Yoga by the beach with these two goddesses. This is a fun, flowing sequence moving from goddess pose into warrior II and reverse warrior, all with the ocean as our backdrop.

This is what happens when yoga teachers go on a trip. A synchronized reverse warrior pose on the rocks in Wayanad. Practicing in nature with friends is one of my greatest joys.

Holding Baddha Parsvakonasana (bound side angle pose) on a basketball court surrounded by greenery. This deep stretch for the hips and shoulders feels even better with fresh air and open space.

About this collection

Practicing outdoors is not just about the view, it is about learning to balance on uneven ground. Sand or grass forces your stabilizer muscles to work harder than they do in a studio, giving you a completely different level of engagement.

The stillness you find in a park or by the sea is hard to replicate. When we practice outside, we are not just following a routine, we are tuning into the environment. I love hosting these sessions because nature does half the work for you. How it works: The Surface: We trade studio mats for grass or sand. It adds a layer of difficulty because your feet and core have to adjust to the ground, which is great for improving your balance and functional strength. The Distractions: You might hear birds or feel the wind. It teaches us how to stay focused on our breathing even when things are not perfectly quiet. Locations: I frequently host these in Bengaluru, often at spots like Lalbagh or open community parks. I am also always up for planning a session in a new, quiet corner of the city. Who is this for: Everyone. Whether you are a regular practitioner wanting to spice up your routine or a beginner looking to connect with your body in a relaxed setting, you are welcome. We are there to move, breathe, and enjoy the open sky. If you want to join an upcoming session or have a specific spot in mind, let me know.

I am Radhika. I believe yoga should be accessible, light-hearted, and occasionally a bit messy. Whether we are practicing in a studio or under the open sky, my goal is to help you build consistency without the pressure of being perfect!
