About Capoeira Workshops & Events
Dive Into Capoeira Culture
Our workshops and events are where Capoeira comes alive. Here, it’s not just kicks and cartwheels—it's about connecting with the vibe, music, and stories from Brazil. We mix movement, songs, and a lot of laughter. I see Capoeira as the art of play, where folks become friends and everyone belongs.
Big Festival Energy: Batizado
Once every year, we go all out with our Capoeira Batizado festival. It’s a gathering, not just a grading. There’s non-stop rodas (game circles), music sessions, and even Samba dances. We bring in guest Capoeira instructors from India and Brazil, so you get new perspectives and loads of inspiration. Whether you’re getting your first belt or just soaking in the energy, it’s a celebration for everyone.
Something for Every Level
Curious but never tried? Our intro workshops are perfect—no stress, no pressure, just some basics and the feel of the game. If you want to level up, we’ve got focused sessions for handstands, acrobatics, and capoeira music and movement, including learning to play instruments like the Berimbau.
Kids Welcome!
Kids’ Capoeira summer camps and workshops are playful and energetic, with games, stories, and lots of Brazilian beats. It’s about fun and confidence, not perfection.
More Than Moves
Capoeira is a conversation, not a fight. You’ll sing, play, move, and find your place—no matter your experience. Come for the moves, stay for the community.

My Story
Hey, Ravi here - one of the folks behind Capoeira Academy. Been into Capoeira since I was 14, it’s basically shaped my whole life. Not just kicks and flips, it’s like a dance, a chat, a game. Our classes? Bit chaotic, super fun, always about finding your own flow. We jam on the berimbau, sing in Portuguese, and strangers turn into family in the Roda. That Axé (energy), that’s what keeps us coming back.
My Work
Capoeira classes for all ages - We teach Capoeira for kids, adults, and total beginners. Even toddlers have their own batch!
Special workshops and school programs - From handstand workshops to school curriculum, we bring Capoeira everywhere.
Movement, music, and culture - Capoeira is not just martial arts - it’s dance, acrobatics, and Brazilian music all mixed up.
Community and the Roda - Join the Roda, play instruments, sing, and share energy with the tribe. It’s real Brazilian culture.
