About My Path as a Yogini
I started Aura Yog Centre after my own struggles with cervical and back pain taught me that healing needs to be practical, not just theoretical. In my sessions, we focus on safe, prop-assisted movements, like using yoga wheels to open up the back, ensuring you leave the studio feeling physically relieved and mentally lighter.
My own journey began when I was frustrated with constant pain. I realized that 99 percent of our modern ailments, like anxiety or stress, are psychosomatic, rooted in how we live our daily lives. My classes at Aura Yog Centre are designed to address these root causes, not just the symptoms.
We combine dynamic Hatha, Pranayama, and even ancestral healing meditations. I bring the same authentic, meditative focus I learned in Rishikesh to our sessions in Shalimar Bagh. Whether you are dealing with chronic pain or just seeking a lifestyle shift, we create a space to release what does not serve you. It is about 'Pehla sukh nirogi kaya' (the first happiness is a healthy body).
We integrate props like gym balls and yoga wheels, not just for fitness, but to make deep backbends and core strengthening accessible and safe for every body type. This is not about perfect poses, it is about creating a routine that fits your life, reduces stress, and helps you sleep better.
