Build Strength with Dynamic Yoga
Forget slow, sleepy yoga. We focus on powerful, dynamic flows and traditional strength movements designed to energize your system and build real stamina.
A fun and challenging moment from our class. Here I am balancing on my students as they hold a strong plank, testing their core strength and stability.
This is Hanuman Dand, a traditional and powerful exercise that builds upper body and core strength. We incorporate such dynamic movements to make our yoga practice more effective for overall fitness.
Practicing the powerful flow of Hanuman Dand in our studio. This sequence is excellent for building strength in the arms, shoulders, and back, offering a full-body workout.
We practice a combination of Hanuman Dand and Mishr Dand, along with wall exercises. This blend of traditional Indian workouts builds exceptional functional strength and endurance.
Here, one of my students holds Bakasana, the Crow Pose. This arm balance requires focus, strength, and practice, and I guide my students step by step to achieve it.
A glimpse into my personal practice, flowing through different asanas. I believe in starting the new year, and every day, with yoga to maintain physical health and mental clarity.
A typical flow in our class, moving from planks to upward-facing dog and forward folds. This sequence helps warm up the body, improve flexibility, and build strength.
Guiding my students through a Surya Namaskar flow. This sequence is a cornerstone of our practice, providing a complete body workout and connecting movement with breath.
The energy in the studio is always uplifting as we move together through our yoga practice. Each asana is a step towards a healthier body and a calmer mind.
About Build Strength with Dynamic Yoga
Don't expect the usual slow-paced stretching here. My classes focus on functional strength using traditional movements like Hanuman Dand and Mishr Dand, paired with targeted core work. We don't just hold poses; we flow to build actual muscle endurance that you will feel in your daily life.
Most people think yoga is only about sitting on a mat, but at Aura Yog Centre, we use it to build serious, functional strength. My sessions incorporate props like gym balls and yoga wheels to add resistance, but the core of our practice is traditional strength—what we call dands.
These movements challenge your stamina and muscle control far more than generic gym workouts. Whether you join my offline studio in Shalimar Bagh or log in online, the goal is the same: move away from back pain and lethargy toward a nirogi kaya (healthy body).
We keep our batches small, usually 10 to 15 people, so I can personally guide your form and ensure you are doing the movements safely. If you are looking to tone your core, improve your balance with poses like Bakasana, or just build physical power, this is for you. We focus on consistency—5 days a week for our weight loss batches—because sustainable health is built by showing up, breathing right, and putting in the work. Har Har Mahadev!
