About Himalayan Retreats: Khajjiyar & Dalhousie
Our retreats are intentional journeys, not luxury vacations. You will travel by private bus from Delhi, stay in comfortable 3-star mountain resorts, and join me for 90-minute sunrise Hatha sessions. We focus on 'Manipura Dhyan' and pranayama, ensuring you return home with tools to manage daily stress, not just vacation memories.
Why Khajjiyar and Dalhousie?
We chose these locations for their quiet, expansive meadows and dense deodar forests, which provide the perfect environment for deep meditation. Unlike city studios, here the Himalayan air and silence allow you to fully focus on your practice.
The Daily Sadhana
Each day begins early. We start with 90-minute Hatha and Power Yoga sessions, often conducted outdoors on the grass or riverbanks. In the evenings, we gather for Satsang, where we discuss the 8 limbs of yoga, practice chanting, and share experiences.
What to Expect
This is a 5-day immersive experience.
- Core Training: Sessions are led personally by me or my senior academy staff. We include 'Manipura Dhyan' for building willpower and confidence.
- Travel & Stay: We handle the logistics so you can focus on your inner work. This includes round-trip transport from Delhi via AC Tempo Traveler or bus, and 4 nights in 3-star equivalent hill resorts or wooden cottages.
- Mindful Living: Meals are vegetarian, home-style, and balanced to support your yoga practice.
- Beyond the Mat: We incorporate nature walks, trekking to local waterfalls, and visits to temples like the Chamunda Mata Temple to connect with the local culture.
Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your practice, these retreats are about returning to your antaratma (inner self) and learning how to carry that peace back to your life in the city.

I am Sunil Maan, and I started these retreats because I believe the mountains offer the clarity we often lose in the city. I lead every session myself, blending my background as a former Mr. India with the deep, quiet wisdom of traditional Hatha yoga and meditation.
