Himalayan Yoga & Nature Retreats in Dharamshala
Escape the city noise and find your peace in the mountains. Join me for Hatha Yoga, meditation, and quiet walks by the river in the serene landscapes of Dharmkot.
This video shows different aspects of my yoga sessions, from partner yoga to mother-daughter practice and advanced individual poses, all focused on self-growth.
A video capturing the essence of my nature retreats. We practice asanas and meditate right by the flowing river, letting the sound of the water calm our minds.
This video shows various asanas being practiced on a large rock with the stunning Himalayan range in the background, proving that yoga truly connects us with nature.
Leading a small group in an upward salute pose (Urdhva Hastasana) in the green fields of Dharmkot. The fresh mountain air makes the practice even more special.
A moment of complete relaxation in Savasana (Corpse Pose) after a fulfilling practice in nature. The sun's rays add to the serene atmosphere.
Guiding students through Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) during an outdoor session. My focus is on proper alignment and breathing for all participants.
A group of students holding Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) together in the mountains. Practicing in a group fosters a sense of community and shared energy.
About Himalayan Yoga & Nature Retreats
These retreats are all about getting back to basics, so expect simple, non-AC accommodation that keeps you connected to the surroundings. My family and I organize everything from your daily satvik meals to our twice-daily Hatha Yoga sessions, so you just need to arrive, disconnect from the screen, and breathe.
Finding Sukoon in the Mountains
I believe yoga is about much more than just perfecting an asana. It is about quietening the mind. In our 3-day Himalayan Eco-Yoga Retreats, we step away from the distractions of daily life to reconnect with ourselves. Whether you are a beginner or a regular practitioner, the environment in Dharmkot and Yol Cantt provides the perfect setting to deepen your practice.
What to Expect
Each day is built around a rhythm that balances movement and stillness:
- Morning and Evening Yoga: We practice Hatha Yoga and Pranayama. My focus is always on alignment and breathing, not on how deep you can bend.
- Nature Connection: We spend time on guided walks along the river streams. The sound of the flowing water is a natural teacher in itself.
- Satvik Meals: We provide simple, wholesome vegetarian meals that are easy on the body and mind, keeping with the spirit of the retreat.
Practical Details
- Accommodation: You will be staying in a mid-range eco-resort on a twin-sharing basis. The rooms are basic, clean, and nature-centric without the distraction of air conditioning, allowing you to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
- Logistics: The retreat covers your stay and meals. You will need to arrange your own travel to Dharmshala, but once you arrive, we handle the local transfers for our trekking and practice spots.
Yoga is for everyone—regardless of age. I have seen children and seniors find the same sense of balance here. If you are looking to find your own 'sukoon', I invite you to join us.
