About Yin Yoga Teacher Training (50-Hour)

In this 50-hour immersion, we move beyond just holding poses. We focus on the foundational 'why' and 'how' of Yin—teaching you to map fascia and meridian lines so you can safely guide students through deep emotional and physical release. Whether you are a yoga teacher wanting to expand your repertoire or a dedicated practitioner seeking to deepen your own practice, this course provides the tools to teach restorative, prop-supported Yin classes with confidence and care.

Understanding the Yin Approach

Yin Yoga is not about forcing the body; it is about finding the space to let go. Our 50-hour training is designed to help you understand the connective tissues of the body and the energetic pathways that define this practice. It is a slow, methodical journey that balances the busy, 'Yang' energy of our modern lives.

What You Will Learn

  • Anatomy & Fascia: Gain a clear understanding of how deep tissue release works and why slow, long-held stretches impact the body differently than dynamic movement.
  • Meridian Theory: Learn the connection between asanas, traditional Chinese medicine, and the flow of energy in the body.
  • Prop Usage: Master the art of using bolsters, blocks, and straps to create support, ensuring every student can find their own unique expression of a pose regardless of flexibility.
  • Sequencing & Guidance: Learn to structure classes that allow for introspection, quiet, and emotional release.

Why Train With Us

We keep our training grounded and real. We don't believe in rigid dogmas; we believe in creating teachers who are observant, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Our course is Yoga Alliance (YACEP) certified, offering you a qualification that is globally recognized.

Whether you join us for a residential immersion in the serene environment of Varkala or choose our local Bangalore formats, you become part of the Aayana family. We ensure you leave with more than just a certificate—you leave with the confidence to hold space for others and the deep, personal clarity that comes from studying the slower, quieter side of yoga.
