About Studio Life & Practice
You will notice a mix of serious aerial work and 'behind-the-scenes' laughter in our photos. That is because, at our Jayanagar studio, we hold space for deep practice—like handstands and Yin—but we never take ourselves too seriously, because we believe the real yoga happens when you are relaxed enough to mess up.
Whether you are looking for Hatha, Vinyasa, or aerial yoga, our space is designed for more than just movement. It is where our community gathers. In Jayanagar, we focus on grounding our practice in real effort, which means you will see plenty of sweat and focus, but also plenty of support.
Our teachers, Regeesh and Mrinali, ensure that every session—even our intense teacher training modules—keeps that friendly, accessible atmosphere. If you are ever in the area, feel free to drop in; the studio is a place to leave your stress at the door, move your body, and connect with people who are just as happy to be there as you are.
We believe that the journey toward the Self doesn't require perfection. It requires showing up. From our foundation courses in Bangalore to our intensive residential retreats in Varkala, the Aayana philosophy remains the same: we use movement to peel back the layers of heaviness and return to a natural, happy state. We’re Regeesh and Mrinali, and we’ve been running Aayana for over a decade. We started this in Jayanagar with a simple goal: to create a space where everyone feels at home, whether you’re nailing your first handstand or just showing up to breathe.
