See beyond the basics. This is a look at my personal practice and the specific training drills that help my students push their limits safely.

Never underestimate the power of asanas and yoga. This is a moment from my practice, a reminder of the healing and strength that comes from stepping on the mat.

Here I am guiding a young student in Natarajasana (Dancer Pose). This pose improves balance, focus, and posture, building confidence and body awareness.

A flow between Surya Yantrasana (Compass Pose) and Eka Pada Sirsasana (Foot Behind the Head Pose). These asanas require deep hip opening and hamstring flexibility.

About Additional Work

In this gallery, you will see the reality of advanced asana practice. It is not just about flexibility; it is about strength, alignment, and controlled breathing. Whether you are working on your Handstand or deeper backbends, remember that form comes before the final pose. I always use props like blocks and walls to ensure you learn the mechanics safely before trying any movement solo.

Many students come to me after getting stuck at an intermediate level. They have the basics down, but that final stretch or holding a pose like Natarajasana or Surya Yantrasana feels impossible. That is where the real work begins. These images show more than just cool poses; they show the conditioning and the specific drills we use in my Rajouri Garden studio to bridge that gap.

We focus heavily on functional strength and mobility. You cannot just stretch your way into a full split; you need the strength to hold your weight and the core stability to keep your spine safe. I integrate calisthenics with yoga because when you add raw power to your flexibility, progress speeds up. Main mehnat karni padti hai—you have to put in the work—but when you learn the right techniques, the results are permanent.

My background as a therapist and chiropractor means I look at every body differently. If you have been doing yoga for years but still feel a nagging pain or a plateau, we might need to adjust your approach rather than just doing more hours. I use therapeutic stretching to clear those physical blocks, keeping your joints safe as we deepen your practice.

If you are struggling with a specific move, do not force it. That is the quickest way to an injury. In my sessions, we prioritize alignment using wall support, blocks, and chairs before we ever try the full version of an asana. Whether you are coming to my Block F studio or joining an online batch, my goal is the same: to give you a roadmap for your practice. We start where you are, fix the imbalances, and move forward.
