My Personal Yoga Practice and Advanced Asanas
A look into the routines that keep me balanced—where I push my own limits to bring better, safer guidance to your mat.
Finding my balance with a handstand in the park. This inversion builds upper body strength, improves circulation, and requires immense focus and control.
Working on variations of Sirsasana, the headstand, outdoors. This pose is known as the king of asanas for its wide range of physical and mental benefits.
A headstand practice with a beautiful historical monument as the backdrop. Connecting with nature and history while practicing yoga brings a deeper level of peace and focus.
Using blocks to support and deepen my middle split (Samakonasana). Consistent practice with props is key to safely increasing flexibility and achieving advanced poses.
Practicing Kakasana, or Crow Pose, an arm-balancing asana that builds strength in the arms and wrists while improving core stability and concentration.
Holding Natarajasana, or Lord of the Dance Pose. This graceful and challenging pose improves balance, opens the shoulders and chest, and stretches the entire front of the body.
A breakdown of the Natarajasana pose, highlighting its benefits. It is excellent for improving posture, increasing concentration, and aiding digestion.
Using a wall to safely deepen my backbend and open my hips in a low lunge. Wall support is a fantastic tool for exploring and improving your flexibility.
Practicing a yoga flow by the river. The natural surroundings add a powerful element of energy and tranquility to my practice, connecting me to the elements.
About My Personal Practice
You will notice that I use props like blocks and walls in my practice, even for advanced asanas. It is not because I am struggling, but because consistent, safe alignment is what allows you to deepen poses without injury. When we work together in my group or personal sessions, I bring this exact focus on safety and progression to your routine, whether you are trying your first headstand or working on your flexibility.
The Foundation of My Practice
For me, yoga is a journey of constant discovery. My personal practice isn't about showing off complex inversions like Sirsasana (headstand) or Natarajasana (Lord of the Dance pose); it is about the discipline of showing up every day. Whether I am practicing by the river or in our studio in Sector 47, Noida, the goal is always the same: finding harmony between the body and mind.
Why Technique Matters
I often hear students say they are worried about flexibility or strength. That is why I break down every movement. Using a wall for backbends or blocks for splits isn't 'cheating'—it is a tool for longevity. This is the philosophy I bring to our sessions:
- Safe Progression: We start where you are, not where you want to be.
- Alignment Over Intensity: Proper form protects your joints and makes the pose sustainable.
- Consistency: My motto is 'Work hard in silence.' You don't need a perfect pose on day one; you just need to keep moving.
How We Can Work Together
Whether you are joining me for Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa flows, or specialized HIITSTEP cardio, the objective is the same—to help you leave your worries behind. I offer both online and in-studio sessions in Noida. We focus on breathing, core stability, and that essential bit of masti (fun) to keep you motivated.
