Aerial yoga isn't just for gymnasts. Using silk hammocks for support, we explore inversions, deepen stretches, and play with gravity in a way that feels safe, supported, and surprisingly fun.

My first aerial silk reel, celebrating the feeling of progress. Learning to move with the silks is a journey that makes my soul sing, and I love guiding others through this experience.

Finally getting the hang of a hip key on the aerial silks. It's moments like these, after many attempts, that make the practice so rewarding. Weekends are for unlocking new skills.

Art nourishes the soul, and for me, aerial hammock is a form of art. This flow is about creating beautiful shapes while suspended, stepping outside the comfort zone and into a space of creativity.

Here's to a year full of pursuing what makes your heart happy. This was my first aerial flow of the year, a practice of setting intentions and finding joy in movement.

Weekends are for hanging out, literally. This aerial yoga flow is a great way to decompress the spine, build upper body strength, and play with gravity.

Revisiting an old aerial flow with new insights and a deeper understanding of the movements. The practice is always evolving, and it's fun to see how far you've come.

Thriving and finding new ways to move with the aerial hammock. Each class is an opportunity to learn something new and challenge yourself in a supportive environment.

About this collection

The biggest barrier to aerial yoga is usually the fear of inverting. In my classes, we start by building trust in the fabric before we even leave the ground. I prioritize hands-on spotting for every inversion, ensuring you feel secure while you build the grip strength and core control required to transition smoothly between poses.

Why Aerial?

Most people think aerial yoga is only about dramatic drops or acrobatics, but it is actually one of the best ways to decompress the spine and build deep core strength. When you are suspended in the hammock, you are forced to engage muscles you might ignore on a standard mat. It turns a regular practice into a dynamic, full-body experience.

What to Expect

Whether we are at IFBC Studios in Saket or Centrestage in Gurugram, the flow is the same:

  • Safe Entry and Exit: We never rush. We learn the knots and grip management first.
  • Spinal Decompression: Using the hammock to hang helps release tension in the lower back and shoulders, which is a game-changer if you sit at a desk all day.
  • No Judgment Zone: You will wobble. You might fall out of a pose. That is part of the process. I want you to laugh at the wobbly attempts rather than stress over them.

Is it for you?

If you are a beginner looking to try something new, aerial yoga is surprisingly accessible. I provide regression options for every move, so you can choose to stay low to the ground or go full inversion depending on your comfort level.

We focus on:

  • Core Stability: Floating planks and suspended drills.
  • Flexibility: Using the silk to deepen hip openers and splits.
  • Confidence: Trusting your body to hold you.

Come as you are. We don't do perfection here, just practice.

I'm Surbhi. My background is in ballet, so I know how to push boundaries, but yoga taught me how to be kind to myself while doing it. My aerial classes are where I go to play and let go, and I'd love to help you find that same feeling of freedom in the air.
