About My Journey as a Yoga Expert
Awards like the 2023 Women Excellence are an honor, but they really reflect the progress of the students I work with every day. Whether we are tackling PCOD, weight management, or simply finding peace, my two decades of practice are dedicated to making yoga 'sahaj'—simple and effective for your daily routine. If you are looking for a teacher who understands both the science and the soul of yoga, let's talk about your personal goals.
My path to becoming a yoga expert wasn't linear; it was built one student and one posture at a time. After more than 20 years, I still approach every class with the mindset of a student—constantly learning and refining my methods. My work with initiatives like 'Ear to Hear' reminds me that yoga is a bridge to mental health, not just physical fitness.
Why My Approach is Different
- Experience Over Trends: You won't find generic routines here. I adapt traditional Hatha and Ashtanga flows to your specific needs, whether you are dealing with chronic back pain, stress, or pregnancy.
- Local Roots, Global Standards: My primary practice is based in Kurla and Chembur, allowing me to build a supportive community where students motivate each other. I keep batch sizes manageable so I can provide individual attention on your alignment and form.
- Holistic Focus: We don't just focus on weight loss; we work on 'aarogyachi kranti'—a health revolution. This includes pranayama for stress relief, naturopathy tips for digestion, and meditation to help you slow down in a fast-paced city like Mumbai.
Whether you are joining an online batch or opting for personal training at home, my goal remains the same: to make yoga a comfortable, sustainable part of your life. No intimidation, no complex jargon—just clear guidance to help you move better and feel calmer.
