My Yoga Credentials and Media Features
I believe in showing my work. Here is a look at my certifications, my teaching philosophy, and how I use yoga to bring real, sustainable results to your life.
I was honored to be interviewed by Utpal Shanghvi Global School about the global perspective of yoga. I shared my journey of over 20 years and explained how yoga works on a physical, mental, and spiritual level.
Age is just a number. Here is one of my dedicated students, Seema ji, demonstrating Malasana (Garland Pose). This powerful asana is excellent for improving digestion and relieving constipation.
I recently started offering facial yoga for issues like extreme dry skin. This is a wonderful, stress busting activity that also promotes sound sleep and a relaxed mind.
I am proud to be a certified Face Yoga Teacher, having completed my training with Shivam Yoga Studio. This allows me to bring a deeper understanding of facial anatomy and techniques to my students.
About Credentials & Additional Media
It is not just about the certifications on the wall; it is about how those years of training translate into safety for you. Whether we are doing Face Yoga to combat winter dryness or using Malasana to improve mobility, every technique is backed by my 20 years of practice. I do not just show you a pose; I explain the anatomy behind it so you know exactly why we are doing it.
My Approach to Yoga
I have been practicing since my mother first introduced me to the mat, and I have spent the last 20 years turning that practice into a science. My teaching is rooted in Iyengar-style alignment. This means we do not rush into flow sequences that might cause injury. Instead, we use props—metal chairs, wall ropes, and blocks—to ensure your spine is supported and your joints are safe.
Why Certification Matters
When I share a technique, like the Face Yoga protocols I learned from Shivam Yoga Studio, I am not just teaching you what to do; I am teaching you the anatomy of why it works.
- Certified Knowledge: My Face Yoga certification ensures that when we work on skin dryness or facial tension, we are targeting specific muscle groups safely.
- Therapeutic Focus: My experience is built on years of helping students manage real-world conditions like PCOD, thyroid issues, and lumbar pain. I do not guess; I use established therapeutic sequences.
- Media & Community: I have been featured in school interviews, not just to talk about yoga, but to explain how it functions as a discipline for life, balance, and focus.
How We Work Together
In my classes at Andheri West, we do not focus on flexibility as a performance. We focus on results. Whether it is improving your lung capacity or managing chronic pain, my goal is to guide you through the process until you feel the strength for yourself. Yoga is a way of life, and I am here to help you make it a consistent part of yours.
