About Beyond the Basics: Acro, Prop & Flow Yoga
Whether you are using a simple yoga block to support a backbend or working with a partner for an acro-flow, my approach is always sahaj, saral, prabhavshali (easy, simple, effective). I do not just teach the pose; I help you find the right alignment using whatever props are at hand, even if it is just a dupatta or water bottle, so you feel the stretch exactly where you need to.
Yoga is not about straining; it is about finding the right support. When I introduce props like blocks and belts in my Kurla and Chembur batches, the goal is simple: to make asanas accessible so you can hold them longer and breathe deeper. If your hamstrings are tight, a belt helps you reach further without hunching your back. If a backbend feels scary, a block under your sacrum offers the security you need to open up safely.
We also explore Acro Yoga and partner flows, which are incredible for building functional strength and mutual trust. These dynamic sequences are not just fun; they require core stability and focus, helping you break out of a stale routine. We practice these flows with clear, step-by-step guidance, ensuring everyone feels safe throughout the movement.
Whether you are joining my group classes or booking a private session in Mumbai, we tailor these advanced movements to your current fitness level. There is always room to grow, and my job is to ensure you feel strong and balanced at every stage of that growth.
