About Join the Energy: Group Classes
These aren't posh, air-conditioned gym sessions. We practice in local community halls like Prabodhan Prayog Ghar because the real 'vibe' comes from the group's collective energy, not the decor. You’ll find people of all ages and fitness levels here, and we use simple props like foam blocks or water bottles to keep the practice accessible, effective, and safe for everyone.
Yoga is meant to be social and supportive. In my group classes, you aren't just learning an asana; you are part of a community that keeps you showing up, even on days you feel like skipping.
We currently run sessions at multiple locations including the Prabodhan Prayog Ghar in Kurla, Aamchi Shala in Chembur, and the Nehru Nagar BMC School. We keep batches sized between 15 and 25 students, ensuring I can move around the hall to give everyone personal attention and verbal form corrections.
We follow a balanced curriculum that mixes Hatha, Power Yoga, and Ashtanga flows. It is designed for steady progress, not just a one-off workout. You might start by struggling with a simple forward bend, but in a few weeks, the consistency of the group will have you reaching further.
If you’re worried about whether you’ll 'fit in' because you aren’t flexible, don't be. My students range from beginners to those who have been practicing for years. We believe in sahaj, saral, prabhavshali (easy, simple, effective) yoga. No fancy equipment is required—just bring your mat, your willingness to learn, and a bit of discipline. Whether you are looking to manage weight, improve your sleep, or simply find a space where you can breathe, these sessions are built for you.
