About Therapeutic Yoga
Why I Teach Yoga This Way
I’ve been through tough times myself, and after 20+ years of Yogasadhana, I know what inner strength feels like. For me, yoga isn’t about getting flexible just for show. It’s how you transform your life, bit by bit, from the inside. Main tootungi nahin (I won’t break), and I want you to feel that too.
Who This Is For
My sessions aren’t about quick fixes. We work together if you’re fighting stress, anxiety, or just feeling off balance inside. If you deal with hormonal issues (PCOD, menopause, etc.), chronic pain, or lifestyle stuff like high BP or diabetes, this practice might help. Trouble sleeping, digestion problems, or feeling tired all the time—been there, seen that.
How We Practice
We go slow. No rushing, no fancy moves. It’s all about steady poses, breath awareness, and comfort. I’m big on alignment, so we use props—chairs, blocks, bolsters, wall ropes. Chair yoga for seniors or anyone needing extra support is part of what I offer. The style is Iyengar-inspired yoga therapy, so safety comes first.
Breathwork (pranayama), mudras for calming the mind, and simple meditation (like candle gazing) are included. These tools build focus and make a real difference.
Your Progress
First month is all about learning the basics and finding your rhythm. Most people see real change in 2-3 months—sometimes even their doctors notice. Aapko bas vishwas rakhna hai (Just trust yourself and the process). Yog se hi sab kuch thik hoga. (Yoga heals everything)

My Story
Hi, I’m Kavita. Yogasadhana is not just my job, it’s my ‘sukoon’ (peace). I started young, watching my mom breathe through her practice. Later, yoga helped me through my own struggles - nothing came easy, but the change was real. Jab aap akele kharab samay nikaal lete ho, strength aa jaati hai (you get strong when you survive tough times alone). Now, after 12+ years teaching, I just want to share that steel-within feeling with others. Yoga is my way to celebrate life.
