Yoga is my way of life, not just a job. From clinical halls to my brother's studio, I share the science and the soul of yoga with you.

A glimpse into my journey as a Yoga Therapist at AIIMS, New Delhi. It is a privilege to integrate the healing power of yoga within a clinical environment, helping patients on their path to wellness.

I was deeply honored to demonstrate the official Yoga Protocol in my home district of Kannauj. Sharing the stage with respected ministers and the public was a proud moment, and I'm so grateful to my father for his constant support.

I am forever inspired by the great sage Patanjali, who gave us the science of yoga. Every practice is a tribute to his wisdom, which teaches us to purify our mind and consciousness.

A snapshot from one of my online classes. Whether we practice in person or virtually, the goal is always the same: to stretch, breathe, and find a moment of peace together. See you on the mat.

Finally convinced my brother to let me shoot in his studio. This video was shot at @yoganiroga, and it's a reminder that yoga brings peace, while the divine energy of Shiva gives us power.

About My Professional Journey

Working as a Yoga Therapist at AIIMS opened my eyes to the real science behind our breath. I saw Bhramari pranayama creating tangible changes in beta waves, and that is exactly the level of detail I apply to your sessions. Whether you are dealing with chronic pain or just starting out, I do not believe in one-size-fits-all routines.

My journey has never been about just the poses. It started with my brother pushing me into this field, and it evolved through my training and work at institutions like AIIMS and NCERT. I have learned that while diseases might be many, the solution often starts with the way we breathe and align our bodies.

I keep it real because that is how life actually is. My home practice might involve using shoes as a tripod for my phone, and my classes are conducted in a mix of English and Hindi, just like how we talk at home.

What I Bring to Your Mat:

  • Clinical Experience: My time at AIIMS taught me how to modify yoga for specific conditions like PCOS, thyroid, and back pain. I focus on safety first.
  • Practical Yoga: I believe in using what you have. We can use chairs, walls, and cushions if you don't have fancy equipment. Yoga should fit your life, not the other way around.
  • Accessible Instruction: From my granddad, who is 80+, to kids and total beginners, I customize every flow. You will find me teaching at my studio in Talaghattapura, Bengaluru, or over video calls across India.

I am not here to sell you a perfect, filtered version of wellness. I am here to help you find your balance, whether you are managing chronic pain or just looking for a bit of mental peace.

I am Deeksha. My yoga journey started with my brother and has taken me from clinical settings like AIIMS to teaching folks just like you. I keep my practice real—sometimes that means using my shoes as a tripod, but it always means focusing on what your body actually needs.
