I believe yoga is the path to healing, not just exercise. Here is my philosophy on building resilience and finding your inner sukoon (peace) through consistent practice.

I believe that when you overcome difficult times, you build incredible strength. For me, this practice is proof that I am made of steel and iron. I will not break, and I want to help you feel that same power within yourself.

For new students, the first month is about learning the basics and understanding your body. Real, noticeable changes often come in the second or third month. I have seen my yogis achieve incredible results with consistency and trust in the process.

Many of us hold tension in our shoulders from daily stress and long hours of sitting. Here, I am providing a hands on adjustment to help a student safely open the shoulder joints, improving mobility and relieving stiffness.

Back pain can be debilitating, but gentle, consistent practice can bring significant relief. This simple supine twist, Supine Vakrasana, takes only five minutes a day and helps relax the nervous system and reduce stress in the back.

I offer specific yoga sequences for women to help manage hormonal health. This practice is designed to support those dealing with conditions like PCOS, PCOD, menopause, and general menstrual discomfort by promoting balance from within.

If you are new to yoga or have limited flexibility, props are your best friends. I will show you how to use tools like this yoga block to safely achieve poses, ensuring you get the full benefit without straining your body.

To improve mental focus and find emotional balance, we practice techniques like Jyoti Trataka, or candle gazing. This simple meditation helps strengthen the eye muscles, calm the nervous system, and prepare the mind for deeper states of awareness.

Consistency is non-negotiable here. My students often ask when they will feel a shift, and my answer is always the same: give it three months. The first month is for learning the basics of alignment and technique. By the second and third month, you start feeling the real change—whether it is relief from chronic back pain, better sleep, or a noticeable drop in stress levels. You just have to trust the process.

My Philosophy: Resilience Through Practice

I have been practicing Yogasadhana for over 20 years, and it has taught me one thing: I am made of steel and iron. Yoga is not just about flexibility or showing off poses. It is the union of body, mind, and soul. When you face life's hardships, the strength you build on the mat is exactly what helps you navigate them outside the studio.

Why I Use Props

My teaching is heavily inspired by the Iyengar tradition, where safety and precision are everything. If you are a beginner or dealing with limited mobility, trying to force your body into a pose is dangerous. I use props like wall ropes (Kurunta), metal chairs, blocks, and bolsters to support your joints. This allows us to hold poses for 30 to 60 seconds, which is where the real therapeutic work happens. It is not about flow; it is about alignment.

Focus on Healing

Whether you are coming to me for diabetes management, cervical spondylitis, lumbar pain, or hormonal issues like PCOD and menopause, we work with a plan. We track your progress on paper. I often compare your medical reports from when you start to where you are after six months.

My classes in Andheri West are designed for everyone—kids, seniors, and women managing specific health cycles. If you are ready to be consistent and put in the work, I am here to guide you.
